The property sleeps 10 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedroom configuration consists of; one queen bedroom with ensuite and shower, one bedroom off a sunroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with twin king single beds and a spacious loft room with additional lounge area and lastly, one queen bed and two king single beds that can be joined together to become a king bed.
Whilst retaining much of its original charm, the property has been kitted out with all the modern luxuries. Oak soaped floorboards grace the hallways, bedrooms and living areas whilst the heated floors of the bathrooms are tiled in locally sourced encaustic tiles by Jatana design. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. All windows and doors have fly screens and all bedrooms and living areas have reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans and smart TVs with Netflix.
Many of the furnishings, lighting and décor have been sourced from local and Australasian-based designers and crafts people, including; Pierre and Charlotte, Inkster, Mark Tuckey, Douglas and Bec, local potter Brooke Clunie, Bangalow's Our Corner Store and Byron’s Pampa and Nikau store.
The well-appointed chefs kitchen has a freestanding Falcon double oven, dishwasher, butler sink, Smeg appliances, Smeg coffee machine, microwave and Global knives.
The combined kitchen, living and dining area with wood burning stove opens out through large bifold doors and servery window onto the covered verandah with built in easy retractable flyscreens. The verandah, equipped with a gas BBQ, sink, large table and seating area is the perfect place to relax, watch the sunset and absorb the views across the hinterland.
The cottage itself is set in its own paddock, fenced within the 5 acre property with its own parking area and paths that guide you to the front and rear of the property and pool. There is also an additional outdoor shower, toilet and double sink and a Belle Tent available on special request.
Away from the crowds Benny’s cottage gives you the true country experience, but still centrally located within easy reach of all that the Byron Hinterland and Byron Bay area has to offer.

Our bed is so comfortable we woke up in the morning and spent a good few minutes discussing just how comfortable the bed was whilst luxuriating in it!
OMG this place is stunning it is like staying in the pages of a magazine, its the best looking place i’ve ever stayed in.
We wanted somewhere quiet and relaxing to get away from it all and this place is just perfect.
We love all the details its so comfortable and homely but everything is so beautifully styled.
We just wanted to say how much we love this place, we saw the photo’s and thought it looked great, and we were hoping it would be just as good in real life, which it is!
